Born and raised in South Louisiana, Carolyn is no stranger to the coast. She and her family have spent many summers on the Emerald Coast, at their family condo. Carolyn has a passion for design and the coastal influence.
During her schooling, Carolyn held two summer internships with Lovelace Interiors and fell in love with the endless possibilities of design on the Emerald Coast. She is a recent graduate from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor in Interior Design, a CIDA accredited program. Carolyn has learned how to create personalized floorplans, both by hand and digitally, through Revit and AutoCad. She also completed many courses on the history of architecture, art, and furniture where she learned that design is best when different eras are applied through shape, color, or textures. Through her extensive travels, Carolyn has seen many of these historical design components first-hand and will be able to incorporate her experiences to upcoming design jobs.
Carolyn accepted the job as Susan’s design assistant with plans to be licensed after 2 years of working for the licensed design firm. She believes in what a great opportunity it is to work along the side of a designer who has been in the business for over 25 years.
