Cassidy Lyons Pickens has been practicing with Lovelace Interiors since 2000. Cassidy studied at the University of Mississippi and, after moving to the Emerald Coast, graduated with honors from Florida State University. She has a deep passion for art and décor, and is devoted to meeting the needs of her clients.
“I cherish the process of design and the opportunity to get to know my clients while taking a job from start to finish. I believe doing so allows me to match their personalities and lifestyles while transforming their homes into beautiful, functional spaces personal to them.” Cassidy designed the showcase house of the year, The Modern Minimalist, which was featured on the cover of Vie Magazine. Two of her design projects were also published and graced the cover of Coastal Lifestyles magazine. as well as a few other publications including Homes & Land. She was voted Best Interior Designer in Destin 2016 and voted hottest interior designer by 30a.com.
Cassidy specializes in full demo renovations and enjoys new construction builds. Her passion is transforming spaces from start to finish to help ease the stress for her clients in the selection process to achieve a cohesive overall design. Most of her clients work from a distance while she plans the design details to complete the project turn key for an exciting reveal to create the home of their dreams!
Cassidy has over 25 years of design experience and works in many areas including: Watersound, WaterColor, Inlet Beach, Seaside, Grayton Beach, Blue Mountain Beach, Dune Allen Beach, Churchill Oaks, Burnt Pine, Sandestin, Caribe, Grand Dunes, Grand Villas, Signature Beach, Pensacola, New Orleans, Nashville and Key West to name a few.

I am not someone who is used to working with an interior designer, so I had some anxiety going into this process. We hired Cassidy to be involved in a project to build a new beach house. She paid so much attention to what our likes and dislikes are, and found a way to blend what we wanted, with what would work for the overall design and flow of the house. Cassidy paid attention to every detail and stayed on top of constant changes without missing a beat! Cassidy continues to help me with decisions, and saves me money by avoiding mistakes… like picking the wrong paint colors!
